A fascination for the art of drawing was where my journey into the creative world began. Growing up I was often engrossed in picture books and comics of many kinds, and would happily spend hours either copying pictures or just drawing from my imagination. Much later I decided that I really wanted to learn how to draw properly, and so my serious studies and practice of the art form began. It’s now many years later, and I’m still learning! I have worked in a range of illustration styles and techniques ranging from traditional to digital media, gradually moving from pencils, paints and pens on paper to pixels and vectors on computer screens and digital artwork tablets. I am still fascinated by drawing as an art form and it remains a discipline that I practice regularly.
